One of the key parts to being an exhibitor at a convention is the follow up. We are spending a LOT of money to get the business leads here, with the cost of the exhibit itself, all the printed materials, and the manhours of being here. So to make the most of that investment you need to have a good followup plan.
We will be sending mailings to everyone that we talk to and get any contact information from. That includes postal mail pieces and emails. It occurred to me that we could save on postage and not waste any materials if we verify the mailing address before sending. I recommend using the site by the Cdyne Corporation, which allows me to run a free Address Verification on the attendees. The company does other things, too, like demographics, which is something I need to share with Wendy.
