Had some time to poke around the internet and check on my stocks and investments. I’ve been putting the maximum into my 401K for several years now and last year started making investments in stocks and bonds to build my retirement nest egg. Looks like we are doing OK – knock on wood.
Several years ago I met with a financial planner and took a little profile quiz and learned about my comfort levels with risk and my investment goals. It was very enlightening and now I feel better making those types of decisions without having a spouse to handle those things.
