New Tools for the Franchisees

The company brass wanted to meet after work at the Bonefish Grill and have a few drinks. It was a nice opportunity to get away from the office and relax with the people you see every day but might not have the opportunity to get to know them on a more social level.

Of course, we still talked shop. I was surprised to hear that Curt wants to start a mystery shopping program for our franchisees, and that Corporate plugged money into this year’s budget to start it up. I’ve been traveling so much I guess I was out of the loop on this project.

It sounds like a good idea to get unbiased feedback from people who visit our stores and then send in an online survey to share their findings and thoughts with both Corporate and the franchisees. Actually, I suspect the franchisees might embrace the mystery shopper’s findings and suggestions more easily than some of what we at Corporate have trying to get across to them for years. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.
