After a long day driving around London again, we’ve not found anything that looks like what Lydia and I had in mind for our new warehouse. Lydia is trying hard to be flexible and make it work for a couple buildings that we saw, but I feel like they are too small, with no opportunity for growth and expansion.
We’ll head out again in the morning and look at the new, more expensive sites that the broker has screened for us. I have to give him credit for his sales process. Spend the first day getting familiar, introduce the lower end sites on the second day, and save the best for last so you can close the deal – or at least start lease or purchase negotiations – on the last day. Very good – I can appreciate that since I’ve used that approach myself many many times.
