We watched the Predators play in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs series on TV last night. It was a good game and I was bummed that I didn’t have tickets to go watch it in the arena downtown. Our hometown crowd is very loud and boisterous and we always have a great time cheering for the little hockey team that could. Like that children’s book, they keep chug chug chugging along somehow and they manage to get the job done.
The next game is also here in Nashville, on Wednesday. But for some reason it doesn’t start until 8:00 pm. That is really late for Nashville – we are a town of early to bed and early to rise. It must have something to do with the TV schedule, which is a shame to inconvenience 14,000 fans that come to the game and the thousands more that will be watching on TV. All because some white collar geeks are making big money decisions in a back room in L.A.
