Twice this week I have received a text message from solicitors. I get an unwanted text message that says something about my mortgage. I deeply resent getting these texts. I signed up for the “do not call” my cell phone list over a year ago – there should not be any telemarketers using my number for anything at all.
I wonder if the telemarketers have decided that they can ignore the do not call list if they send a text instead of an actual voice call? That would be foul. As soon as I can figure out who to complain to, I’ll be making a call. My first thought is the Tennessee Attorney General and then someone on the Telecommunications Commission.
