It was 30 years ago that the Centers for Disease Control announced the emergence of the AIDS epidemic. Today is World AIDS Day – again. For we still have not beat this horrible disease. Since that fateful day when the CDC made its first announcement and recognized this as a disease that will eventually effect all of us in some way, there have been over 3 million men, women, children and babies that have died from AIDS. Sometime soon we have to stop this disease. We need a cure and we need people to get tested so they don’t unknowingly spread it.
