On a whim before this last Christmas I found a tablet PC on sale for a really good price, so I bought it. My original thought was that it would come in handy when I travel. A tablet is much smaller and lighter than a notebook computer, so I was hoping to drop the tablet into my purse and leave the notebook at home.
The main problem with my plan is that the company has cut back on travel because of the economy. Our CFO ordered every department to cut back our travel expenses by at least 25%. That means that some of the spring conferences that I was planning to attend will have to be canceled.
The other problem that has come up is that my battery re-charger for the tablet is missing. I don’t know if I misplaced it at home or if I left it at word and it grew legs overnight. Sometimes we do have trouble with electronics missing overnight.
