Internet for RV’ers

I’m not adverse to buying a camper or RV or some sort. Especially if I find a man who like water sports and the mountains as much as I do. I always wondered how I would access the internet if I took the RV out for a week or two . . . or three . . . or four.

From reading Mimi and Jonna’s blog, I see that they use a satellite connection from HughesNet. I’ve read several posts where they talk about setting up their satellite dish and how they can have access to the internet in even the most remote places wherever they travel. That settles that question, and I’m bookmarking the Hughesnet site so when I buy my RV I will know where to look for internet access on the road.

Of course, there are still communities in the U.S. that don’t have broadband cable access and don’t have DSL. In fact, my own neighborhood still does not have DSL and I am right downtown! This satellite access would be a good solution for people here that are stuck with dial up or can’t get cable, too.
