At Thursday’s hockey game, I looked around the other people with seats in my section of the arena and saw that just about everyone else there has an Apple i-Phone and they all seem to have to pull it out and check it several times during the game. I think that is weird, that they can’t keep off their phone for just the couple of hours needed for a good hockey game.
The Vandy Dean was showing his new iPhone to the people behind him. The interesting thing about the Dean’s iPhone was the really cool translucent skin on his. He had bought a skin from a website called www.invisibleshield.com and everyone was very impressed with the fact that the skin is very clear and almost indestructible. The iPhone case protects his iPhone from scratches, dirt, dust and debris. The same site has skins for other types of phones, as well. Cool idea!

Found this great new plug in called WPhone which creates an option to replace the default admin interface with one designed for your phone. It allows for two different types of mobile administration interface:
Rich: designed for the iPhone / iPod Touch and other phones supporting full Javascript and CSS featuring fancy AJAX and sliding menus
Lite: a lightweight, simple version designed for all other phone types (no Javascript or anything else required)
I have been using the plug in on my iPhone and have had no problems with it so far. If you have a iPhone and a Wordpress blog, then you are going to want this plug in for sure.
Seems Apple Computer shares have risen on the sales of its iPod, iPhones and personal computers. I wonder with the recent launch of iGoogle recently, if a merger between Google and Apple is near? And if they do merge, could we see a Yahoo and Microsoft merger as well ?
In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before these four companies merge together and make two GIANTS but we will see if my prediction comes true anytime soon.
To be honest the merger I am waiting for is StarBucks and Krispy Kremes so I can get both my addictions at the same place. But I am interested in hearing what two companies you think should merge together, and why? So please leave them in the comments.
Apple has one of the best gadgets coming out this year with its new IPhone which combines alot of different technologies into one, making a great mobile device that will no doubt hurt all current mobile carriers bottom lines this summer. The best feature is the touch screen technology that allows you to do everything with a push of the screen. I am a little worried about dirty hands and how it will affect the device after a couple of weeks but I plan on buying a IPhone as soon as it hits stores next month. One of the things I look forward to the most is watching YouTube videos on it.
