WPhone plugin rocks

Found this great new plug in called WPhone which creates an option to replace the default admin interface with one designed for your phone. It allows for two different types of mobile administration interface:

  • Rich: designed for the iPhone / iPod Touch and other phones supporting full Javascript and CSS featuring fancy AJAX and sliding menus
  • Lite: a lightweight, simple version designed for all other phone types (no Javascript or anything else required)
  • I have been using the plug in on my iPhone and have had no problems with it so far. If you have a iPhone and a Wordpress blog, then you are going to want this plug in for sure.

Found a great article via Reuters yesterday that says the U.S. Prison System is a costly and harmful failure and has had very little impact on crime in America. The report says the prison population is projected to grow by another 192,000 people in five years, at a cost of $27.5 billion to build and operate additional prisons. In order to stop this, the report recommends shorter sentences and parole terms, alternative punishments, more help for released inmates and decriminalizing recreational drugs. The report also says the number of people in prison has risen 8 fold since 1970 and at its current rate of locking people up 1 in 3 black males will be locked up in their life time; 1 ain 6 Latino males will be locked up; and 1 out of every 13 white males will be locked up.

In my opinion, we need to do all the recommendations of the report and then some because would it not be better to take the same 20 Billion and reinvest it in our communities like education or health care, than just spending it on keeping people locked up in a cell? As always, I am interested in hearing what you think, so please chime in with your thoughts.

Love me and love my doll !

Came across this new show on BBC America called Love me, Love my doll. This show features men that have bought ten thousand dollar Real Dolls (which are sex dolls, custom made). The love dolls have replaced actual women for these men, and now all the men only have relationships with these sex dolls, “go figure.”

While watching it on BBC I was kinda freaked out about how the men would interact with the sex dolls as if they were real women, and of course the way the sex dolls looked, made me feel kind of weird. Maybe one day someone will build a sex doll that is more realistic looking for us women but until that day comes, vibrators will be a girls best friend.

    Do the pumps work?

While talking with a friend who recently had a baby, a couple of our guy friends commented and said that breast pumps, just like penis pumps, do not work. So I told them that, in fact, breast pumps do work and are used by many women, including myself at one time, to get babies milk. So then, of course, I asked him how he knew that penis pumps did not work and his face got bright red and he said that he had never tried one before and he just heard that a penis pump does not work.

So we decided to do a little searching around online and found this great penis pump article by Slate magazine that says penis pumps DO work for all sorts of penis problems, including erectile dysfunction or better known as ED and they also can add length and girth to a mans penis size.

So, in my opinion, yes both breast pumps and penis pumps work for what they were intended for, and I hope that this myth is finally put to rest.

The need for stem cell research

Our country, the greatest country on planet Earth, needs to get behind stem cell research and quickly because if we are to ever see any type of cures for diseases that affect so many today and will have affected up to ten times as many in the coming years, all of them will needlessly suffer in my opinion, if nothing is done now, to research possible cures for incurable diseases like cancer, AIDS, Hepatitis, Herpes and many more diseases that have no cure and affect so many Americans and people worldwide, every day. If you could take a piece of your hair, skin, blood, spit, sperm or even apart of an ovaries, in order to cure yourself, why would you not do so? We already do this with blood which most of the time you get others people blood not even your own, so what is the difference with your very own stem cells? It is a part of me and why should someone be telling me that I can not take a part of me and cure myself with it? Just wanted to get your opinion on this matter where ever you live because cures for diseases is something we all needed yesterday, not possibly 20 years from now.
