It was 30 years ago that the Centers for Disease Control announced the emergence of the AIDS epidemic. Today is World AIDS Day – again. For we still have not beat this horrible disease. Since that fateful day when the CDC made its first announcement and recognized this as a disease that will eventually effect all of us in some way, there have been over 3 million men, women, children and babies that have died from AIDS. Sometime soon we have to stop this disease. We need a cure and we need people to get tested so they don’t unknowingly spread it. If you are sexually active, please use protections. Unwanted pregnancy is NOT the worst thing that can happen to you after having unprotected sex.
