Checking In
Posted by selenaMar 20
I called the office to just check in and touched base with Wendy. With the time zone difference it’s a wonder that I caught anyone still in the office. All is well, I’m getting a lot of emails forwarded and Wendy is covering the meetings I miss.
Wendy had a little tidbit of gossip to share, too. One of our suppliers handles the fixtures for our new stores and Wendy knows that I’ve never really like the guy. He’s from California, which is strike one, and had a relationship with our COO at his previous company, so he came to us not actually by referral but by direction to use him, which is strike two, and he’s a typical salesman of the low sleazy kind, which is strike three. He came into the first couple of meetings all full of himself and pretty much has a blank check on what he wants to do with the franchisees, and I can’t do much about that but fume.
Anyway, she found out today that he has checked himself into a rehab center and taken a leave of absence from his job. What a shock – I had no idea he was having addiction issues.
At least he is in one of the very best treatment centers in California. The treatment center is in Malibu, right on the beach, in a very exclusive setting. Meals are prepared by a gourmet chef, they have a full workout gym with your own personal trainer, and a staff of highly trained and effective counselors. I’m glad he chose the best, so he has the best chance to really beat this and get back to his life a healed and better person.
If you need help with Drug Treatment, Drug Treatment Center facilities have a lot of different things to offer and choosing the right one can mean success or failure with your therapy and recovery. But if you need help, please be strong and reach out for help, and try to find the best one for your own needs. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery and you can beat this thing with the right help.

Maybe he won’t seem like the same salesman when he completes his rehab program
